Purpose:
To operate and maintain various construction machinery, including motor graders, excavators, tipper trucks, water carts, road rollers, and TLBs, to support construction projects and ensure efficient and safe operations.
Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation:
- Operate assigned machinery (motor grader, excavator, tipper truck, water cart, road roller, TLB) according to manufacturer's specifications and safety guidelines.
- Perform tasks such as grading, excavating, transporting materials, watering, compacting, and loading/unloading.
- Ensure proper use of attachments and tools.
- Monitor machine performance and identify any issues or malfunctions.
- Machine Maintenance:
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections to check for any mechanical problems or safety hazards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including refueling, greasing, and cleaning.
- Report any maintenance issues or necessary repairs to supervisors.
- Follow proper safety procedures when operating and maintaining machinery.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow traffic laws and regulations when operating mobile machinery.
- Be aware of surroundings and potential hazards.
- Project Support:
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project objectives.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Relevant training certificate.
- minimum 3 years of experience.
- Final cut experience is advantageous.
